Eligibility criteria for MPNP Occupation In-Demand List Stream

Candidates having higher or on par proficiency in French corresponding to their English language proficiency are considered Francophone. They are not required to be employed in an in-demand profession to fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the MPNP stream. Their score on the language proficiency test has to be supported by a test endorsed by Manitoba.
CLB – Canadian Language Benchmark requirements are usually very lower for language proficiency criteria. However, it may be higher for specific occupations. For the Overseas Education Pathway under MPNP, at least 7 level CLB is need in all language components. (Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Reading). This is irrespective of the professions of the applicants.
